Gerard Jansen is CEO of the Alan Turing Institute Almere. He has a degree in social sciences and is an experienced general, programme and project manager.
Professional Experience
Before he became CEO of ATIA he was managing director of the Almere Knowledge City Foundation. This organisation, funded by the municipality of Almere, promotes and helps to develop innovations with ICT in the main sectors of society: business, living, education, health care, public services and security. Before that he was deputy head of the economic department of de municipality of Almere. Before that he had several (management) functions in different areas in the public sector and care for mentally disabled people.
